Career Exposure & Networking Events
One of 100’s Career Exposure and Networking Events is designed to bridge the gap between youth and the world of professional opportunities. Through interactive events, students and young adults connect with a diverse network of professionals from various fields, including STEM, arts, construction, real estate, healthcare, business, law, and more. Participants gain firsthand insights into potential career paths, hear inspiring personal stories, and engage in Q&A sessions with industry experts. Our events feature panel discussions, “day-in-the-life” shadowing opportunities, and hands-on workshops that expose youth to real-world jobs and workplace skills. Networking sessions give participants the chance to build relationships, seek mentors, and discover internships and job opportunities. By expanding horizons and building professional connections, our program helps youth make informed decisions about their futures and take confident steps toward their dreams.
Community Engagement & Service Projects
At One of 100, we know that strong communities are built through shared experiences and meaningful action. Our Community Engagement & Service Projects program gives youth and young adults chances to connect, give back, and make a difference-including through special community events like Community Days. During Community Days, we bring people together for family-friendly gatherings filled with activities, resource fairs, workshops, and opportunities to meet community leaders. These events are designed to celebrate local culture, promote wellness, and foster connections among neighbors. Youth participants also get involved in service projects such as neighborhood cleanups, food and clothing drives, and volunteering with local organizations. Through these experiences, they develop leadership and teamwork skills while learning the value of civic engagement and community pride. Our program creates a space where youth can build relationships, discover their potential, and become active participants in strengthening their communities.

One of 100’s Homeownership Readiness Program empowers youth and young adults with the knowledge and tools they need to make homeownership an achievable goal. Through engaging workshops and hands-on activities, participants learn practical steps to build savings, understand the fundamentals of credit, and budget effectively for long-term goals. This program covers the essentials of the homebuying process, including how to set realistic savings goals, research and compare loan options, and improve credit scores to qualify for a mortgage. Expert guest speakers—including real estate professionals and financial advisors—guide participants through topics such as finding a home, down payments, navigating loan applications, and understanding interest rates. By demystifying the process and breaking down the steps, we encourage young people to dream big and equip them with a clear, attainable path to owning a home. Through education and goal-setting, participants gain the confidence and financial skills to save, plan, and work towards purchasing their first home.
